Supply Chain Excellence Project Manager

At Hays we are seeking a Supply Chain Excellence Project Manager to join the HORSE team. A critical role in optimizing supply chain operations, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive excellence across all levels of the Supply Chain, under the responsibility of the Supply Chain Excellence Manager.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Project Execution: Develop project estimates, plans, and approaches to manage end-to-end project execution. Generate and track milestones, evaluate project issues, and assist with resolution.
  • Supply Chain Strategy: Implement supply chain strategies aligned with the overall business strategy. Work closely with key stakeholders to develop and execute strategies.
  • Process Optimization: By coordinating with various departments (operations, production control, projects, transport, after sales, purchasing, procurement, DLI), the Supply Chain
  • Project Manager identifies opportunities for process improvement. They aim to enhance efficiency, transparency, and simplicity within SAP-based end-to-end processes.
  • Resource Coordination: Coordinate global resources to ensure project execution aligns with the planning
  • Effective Communication: Clearly communicate project scope, timing, and priorities to the different directions of the Supply Chain and the local logistics

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in a logistics department. Experience within the automotive industry would be a plus.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
  • English Proficiency: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Goal-Oriented Approach: Demonstrated ability to set and achieve project-related objectives.
  • Team Management: Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Previous work in the automotive industry.
