At Hays we are collaborating with a leading global company in the renewable energy sector, focused on the development, operation, and management of infrastructure for clean energy generation. The company is undergoing a significant digital transformation and is expanding its OT capabilities to support its long-term strategic goals.
We are currently looking for an OT Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of industrial technology environments within an international, innovative, and sustainability-driven context.

What will your responsibilities be?
  • Define and implement the OT infrastructure architecture and strategy.
  • Lead the design and optimization of secure and scalable OT systems.
  • Act as the main point of contact for OT infrastructure-related matters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to deliver robust OT solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards and security frameworks (e.g., ISO27000).
  • Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of infrastructure components and procedures.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address incidents and inefficiencies.

What are the requirements?
  • University degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Linux, SQL Server, Azure).
  • 12+ years of experience with Windows Active Directory and related technologies.
  • 12+ years of experience with LAMP and Wintel servers in VMware environments.
  • Strong knowledge of PowerShell and infrastructure automation.
  • Proven experience in technical leadership roles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience working in international and cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English; German or other languages are a plus.
