Job Description: UX/UI Designer (Senior)

Location: Madrid

From HAYS we are looking for a professional to join one of its subsidiary companies specialized in the development of an innovative application powered by cutting-edge technologies. We are looking for an experienced UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team and help ensure the high quality and reliability of our software.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to gather and understand user requirements and business goals.
• Conduct user research and analyse user feedback to identify pain points, preferences, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop user personas, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
• Create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces that align with the overall product vision and branding guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs, and provide guidance and support throughout the development process.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve the user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, industry standards, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the user experience of our application.
• Mentor and guide junior UX/UI designers, fostering a culture of design excellence and innovation.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, preferably in a senior role.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects and demonstrating a user-centered design approach.
• Solid understanding of user research techniques, usability principles, and interaction design best practices.
• Familiarity with frontend development technologies such as React and JavaScript to effectively collaborate with developers.
• Excellent visual design skills with an eye for aesthetics, typography, and layout.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the ability to translate complex concepts into intuitive and engaging designs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design decisions to stakeholders.
• Excellent English and other languages of benefit (Spanish, German, etc.)
