R&D

We are seeking an experienced and innovative R&D Manager to lead our Research & Development activities within the food ingredients sector. You will play a key role in driving product innovation, improving existing formulations, and supporting the company’s long‑term growth strategy. This is a strategic position with strong visibility across the organization and direct impact on our product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and scientific excellence.
  • Oversee the development of new food ingredients and the optimization of existing products, ensuring alignment with market needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive research projects from concept to commercialization, coordinating with cross‑functional teams including Quality, Production, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and scientific advancements to identify new opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, documentation standards, and internal quality systems.
  • Manage R&D budgets, resources, and project timelines effectively.
  • Represent the company in technical meetings, customer presentations, and collaborations with external partners or research institutions.

Requirements
  • Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field; a Master’s or PhD is a strong plus.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in R&D within the food ingredients or food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of formulation, process development, and food regulations.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is an advantage.
  • Strategic mindset, creativity, and a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving.
