Orange Bank Spain has a Data Engineer incorporated into the bank's Architecture team, reporting to the manager. The Data Engineer is responsible for implementing and managing/maintaining the procedures (corrective and evolutionary loading interfaces) and processes (operational data lake) that allow the transformation/adaptation of the information generated in the company to a format suitable for its exploitation (Sandbox and DWH environments), analysis and subsequent decision making, ensuring the correct democratisation and availability of the data.
Analysis of business user requirements and their application to data availability.
Definition of information flows, transformations and interfaces.
Design, implementation and maintenance of the data model (conceptual, logical and physical).
Design, implementation and maintenance of ETL processes.
Alignment with data governance.
Ensuring proper information ingestion and DWH loading processes.
1 or 2 years of experience in similar positions, with experience in the banking or consumer credit sector, preferably in the B2C segment.
Knowledge in data processing (Spark, Hive...).
Skills in project management and datawarehousing.
Business sensibility and transversal knowledge of other areas of the company.
High level of oral and written English and Spanish.
Dynamic and flexible person able to work in multidisciplinary environments. You are a crack team player.
